Job description
Buchanan House Care Home is looking to recruit a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our luxury, purpose-built care home.
We provide the very highest standards of care for 53-residents, and we believe this starts with having the right people on board to share our passion.
As the Head of Domestic Team, you will ensure yourelf and your team maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the care home, always ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
Housekeeper Contract
- £11.00 per hour
- 40 hrs per week

- Vacuum throughout
- Shake out cushions
- Clean dining rooms/lounges/toilets
- Clean taps and sinks
- Clean soap dispenser outlets
- Clean toothbrush holders
- Spot clean all floorings
- Wash all bathroom/toilet/en-suite floors
- Polish all mirrors
- Clean all pipe work in toilets
- Dust handrails and radiators
- Move all mobile furniture (including beds and chairs) and vacuum and dust beneath/behind
- Wash out metal wastepaper bins
- Dust and polish furniture and windowsills
- Wash lino floors
- Shampoo carpets as requested by Home Manager
- Dust light bulbs, curtains, pictures, and fittings
- Restock toiletries, soaps, towels when required
