Job description
Grade: HPL1, £48.53 per direct teaching hour. This includes the following elements: teaching, preparation and marking of the scheduled programme of work (Flat rate of £19.41 will be paid for completing one of the above elements of the schedule.)

We are seeking to recruit lecturers who are available to work during the academic year and will be paid on an hourly basis in the following subject areas within Visual Communications:
- Graphic Design (theory and practice)
- Illustration (theory and practice)
You will work under the direction of the Principal Lecturer/Course leader in delivering high quality teaching and learning to undergraduate and/or postgraduate students. Duties will include preparation, delivery, and marking where required. You will be expected to deliver lectures and run seminars and tutorials, taking responsibility for issuing feedback, guidance and pastoral care.
You will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to communicate ideas of a complex or technical nature to students effectively using a variety of teaching methods, have detailed knowledge of the particular subject area through significant teaching, and/or industry experience.
