Job description
The 54 bedroom hotel is looking for an outgoing and friendly person with good communication skills to join our team as receptionist. Previous experience of front of house would be an advantage but full training will be given to the right candidate. You will be required to assist in the day-to-day running of the reception area, answering calls, handling guest inquiries, checking guests in and out, taking reservations. This is a busy front desk so you must be organised and able to work as a team or on your own initiative, providing a high level of customer service at all times.
Main Responsibilities:
- Welcoming guests and checking their details against their bookings
- Ensuring a smooth check in/out process for all guests at all times, taking payments and returning deposits
- Answering phones from prospective customers and guests, taking messages and delivering them
- Compiling guests accounts and fulfilling administrative duties
- Responding to requests for help and information
- Preparing room bills and ensuring prompt payments
- Dealing with guests inquiries and supporting sales department
- Ensure that the Heads of Departments are kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and other departments
Job Types: Permanent, Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-24 per week
