The Role…

A place for the culturally conscious, a place where we need to attract and become fully immersed in the creative communities of Manchester, but also be able to inspire everyone who walks through the door.

We are looking for someone to make this come to life within our main hotel lobby. They will be responsible for ensuring all guests that arrive have a positive and energised experience.

Ideal experience…

• A minimum of 1 year experience in relevant role(s), with a similar role in hospitality
• Experience with a hotel front office system, Ideally Opera
• Proven ability to engage and support a front facing lobby team
• Confident to meet VIPs, provide tours and inspire people about The Alan
• Can handle with calm shifting priorities, demands and timelines
• Able to think innovatively and keep an open mind whilst inspiring your team
• Excellent communication skills, ideally with an outgoing personality
• Highly organised with attention to detail and customer focused
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Be able to provide all guests with local attractions and creative projects, have a pulse for what’s happening in and around the city
• Proactive and ‘hands on' approach
• As hotels are a 24/7 operation you may be requested to work night shifts
