Established in 1884, the Faversham Club is a prestigious Private Members Club, in Faversham, Kent, with approx. 350 members. The club has two bars including a function/dining room, a snooker room with two tables and a private meeting room. The club is open daily and various events and competitions are held during the year.
With the pending retirement of our current long serving Steward, a rare opportunity has arisen for a live-in, full time Steward / management who will be the lynchpin of our club.
In order to be successful in this role you will need to be enthusiastic, friendly and hard-working with the ability to oversee the day-to-day operations of our club in conjunction with the club secretary and committee. You will have excellent organisational and personal skills and will work with the club committee to assist with the club's future growth and development.
Ideally you will have worked in a similar position of responsibility within the hospitality sector or licensed trade and will hold a personal licence or be willing to attain one.
There is also the opportunity to introduce a food offer at the club, so catering experience and qualifications are desirable.
On site private accommodation is available with this role if required and comes in the form of a small 2 bed flat with a lounge and bathroom.
