The award winning Ansty Hall Hotel near Coventry is a beautiful Grade II* listed 17th Century Georgian House full of charm and character. The House is on beautiful 8 acres off grounds with different area’s to relax and enjoy the scenery or even explore and take a wonder down our own forest walk. The hotel is a great place as a base to explore the area, has great motorway connections for business travelers and is the ideal location for a wedding with our own Orangery for weddings as well as the beautiful grounds to use for photo’s or receptions. Dry hire and exclusive use hire is available. The hotel has 62 bedrooms, bar & lounge, own restaurant and Conference & Events / wedding facilities to cater up to 150 guests.

The Receptionist will support other members of the front desk team and draw on previous customer facing experience to help the team achieve service and revenue targets. The Receptionist will be a confident and effective communicator, who can demonstrate their ability to converse with a wide variety of guests and colleagues at all levels.

The Receptionist’s duties will include; check in and out; effective reservation & event enquiry handling; collating guest service feedback; giving, receiving and handover of information; accurate billing and posting of revenue; efficient and professional attention to guest & colleague enquiries.

Receptionist Requirements:

Our expectation of you will be that you are able to work on your own using your initiative as well as contribute to the overall success of your team and the hotel. You must have the following:

Welcoming and professional approach to guests

Passion for exceeding guest expectation, first time, on time, every time

Immaculate presentation standards in all that you do

Experience in similar hotel reception role and luxury environment preferred though not essential as full training will be given

Excellent communication skills with high standards of literacy, numeracy and office based computer systems

Good working knowledge of hotel reservation and rooms management system, preferably Hart is preferred though not essential as full training will be given

As this is 7 day a week operation full time roles must be available to work a variety of shift patterns that include early starts, late finishes, weekends and bank holidays.

On top of your pay you will get paid service charge which could average £1 per hour worked.
