The Role Requirements:
The prestigious Marco Pierre White Steak House Bar Grill Restaurant at the Cube Hotel in Birmingham is looking for a Host to join the team. Situated on Level 25, our hotel restaurant can cater for 200+ covers and in addition boasts a roof top terrace, a cocktail bar, three diverse events spaces and 360-degree panoramic views over the city.
You will be responsible for ensuring all guests are greeted, seated and provided with a high level of service throughout their visit.
The ideal candidate will be experienced operating within high volume and fast paced, high environments and will have the ability to deliver great service to our guests.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality, reliable and willing to learn.
Duties will include:
- Presenting yourself professionally to promote a hospitable and professional image to the guest with a prompt, caring and helpful attitude.
- To be responsible for welcoming and seating guests to the restaurant in a friendly and caring manner according to the hotel department standards.
- Ensuring a smooth and successful dining experience is delivered to our guests at all times.
- Be a true team player – be proactive in helping colleagues across different departments and roles.
- Maintaining up to date knowledge on menu items and current promotions in order to be able to recommend and communicate offerings to the guest to enhance experience.
- Ensuring brand standards are always met for great service delivery.
- Deal with any reasonable requests form guests in a professional manner.
- Strive to anticipate customer needs and where possible react to theses to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Showcase a welcoming, professional, warm and bubbly personality!
- Be an expert in handling all guest feedback positive and negative.
- Managing the booking sheets.
- Be fully conversant with the facilities, services and promotions offered by the hotel and whenever appropriate, offer this information to the guest.
