The Range Hospitality Manager is responsible for leading the Range Hospitality service team to deliver consistently high service and presentation levels to our driving range customers.
The Hospitality Manager will work as an integral part of the Hospitality service team incorporating Driving Range, assisting with the delivery of the high presentation standards and service.
Flexibility is pivotal both in terms of cross department working and availability at busy times to meet the seasonal demands of the business.
SUMMARY OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
This role incorporates the structured management of the driving range, ensuring delivery of service and facility standards and implementation of a structured programme of activity designed to maximise sales and profitability of the Driving Range on all fronts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Health & Safety
- Ensure a safe working environment by conforming to company Health and Safety regulations.
- Adhere to all BGL company policies and procedures.
- Keep up to date with all assigned training and compliance training on the BGL Academy.
Range Operation
- Manage the performance of the Range Hospitality Team from induction, training to ongoing performance reviews.
- Create and manage effective Rota’s in line with the business and financial needs.
- Manage and maintain the trackman software and equipment to ensure it is effective.
- To create and develop a community of Trackman Range golfers loyal to the club.
- Find innovative ways to grow the business performance.
- Manage the standards of the range on a daily basis.
- Focus the team on upselling and increasing the F&B spend/ball spend ratio
- Work with trackman to improve the offering and games/challenges/engagement.
Hours of Work
Due to the seasonality of golf and opening hours there is a requirement for flexibility. Although hours to be agreed locally the typical full-time contracts will follow the guidance below.
- Full time; 40 hours a week.
- The role may require additional hours in line with the needs of the business.
