Audio Visual Engineer - Smart Home Technology

We are currently seeking an AV Engineer to work on high end residential projects throughout Surrey and London. This is a full time, permanent role and the working hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
The Role:
The company specialises in in design and installation of smart home technology. To support their fast growing home automation client base they are looking for someone who would be happy to work on new projects (installation), as well as assist the service and maintenance team with proactive scheduled aftercare visits and respond to ad hoc reactive visits in the event of a fault.

- Installation of projects in a timely and professional manner
- Attending scheduled after care service visits
- Responding to ad hoc reactive call outs, fault finding and fixing
- Configuring and programming control systems
- Reading and understanding wiring diagrams, schematics and technical documentation
- Working with the After Care Manager to ensure that reports are completed
- Communicating with the wider team to ensure clients are kept up to date
- Working with suppliers/ tech support departments to progress RAMs and repairs
- Attending training with specific manufacturers and suppliers as and when organised
The Person:
- Experience working as an AV Service Engineer, AV Engineer or AV Commissioning Engineer
- Experience with: Lutron, Crestron/ Crestron Home, Control4
- Preferably: Home cinemas, multi room audio and video systems, CCTV and Intercom
- Excellent technical knowledge of a variety of AV equipment
- Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- High quality solder terminations
- Experienced use of all hand tools to enable installation of project
- Great team player
- Ability to problem solve and come up with a concise solution

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
