About the role:
The successful candidate will be committed to delivering fantastic customer experience in one with brand and service stands, with a can-do attitude and flexible approach. You will assisit with the provision of the day to day unit activities, working to a high-quality standard ensuring our customers experience is world class. The Hospitality host role is responsible for assisting with the preparation and delivery of food and beverage service.
Duties include:
- Provide a world class level of service to customers of the restaurant.
- Ensure facilities are maintained to a high standard and consistently presented in line with the Standards of Operations, carrying out the required Daily, Weekly and Monthly standards check. Deal with and report on any discrepancies, together with recommendations for solution.
- Take monies (credit/debit cards and cash) and reconcile all monies taken.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in according to the product directions and in accordance with the alcohol licence.
- Ensure the bar area is well presented clearing tables and guest areas.
- Maintain stock levels, date and rotation.
- To dispose of waste, including recycling, in the appropriate manner and if required to remove it to the designated location.
- To assist with loading/unloading the glasswasher/dishwasher, rotating stock, and keeping the front of house and bar areas clean and tidy.
- Assist in one to one training of new staff in order to uphold the high level of presentation, hospitality and service.
- Assist in any emergency evacuation as directed.
- Ensure the uniform dress code is adhered to at all times, enhancing the image of the outlet.
- Have a good knowledge of airport facilities to be able to answer guest queries and provide an excellent customer service.
- To work flexibly to the rota, and within any MAG Hospitality unit as required.
- To follow all procedures on energy conservation.
- To carry out reasonable instructions as directed by any member of the restaurant management team
- To be an ambassador of the Hangar brand, displaying a can do attitude in all aspects of the role
- Making all guests feel welcome, and ensure we go the extra mile to give excellent service
- To escalate any operational issues or risks to the relevant shift leader or to the restaurant management
About you:
- We are looking for someone who has/is:
- Passion for customer service
- Can do attitude with flexibility
- Experience or understanding of great customer service
- A team player
- Used to working shifts, and flexible to work across a 7-day operation
- Understanding of handling cash and credit card
- Computer literate on mainstream PC applications including Microsoft office
- Experience of working on own initiative, capable of building solid and beneficial relationships both internally and externally
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old to comply with our alcohol service policy.
