Interim Project Accountant
Temporary until the end of September
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
Immediate Start

This is an interesting project role for an experienced Finance Systems Accountant or Project Accountant looking for their next interim assignment. This role will have a large focus on managing high volumes of data, setting up project codes and implementing new controls for invoice and payroll processing.

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Processing quarterly VAT returns
• Analysing balance sheets and allocating funds across multiple sites
• Setting up new coding and filing structure
• Assisting with the implementation of year-end external audit recommendation
• Liaise with the Senior Finance Business Partner to implement required changes
• Set up ap process for month end reconciliation of fixed asset register to general ledger.
• Supporting the team with payroll balance sheet reconciliations
• Budget reporting and analysis

Kay Requirements:

• Available immediately
• Experience dealing with high volumes of financial data and coding
• Strong IT skills and advanced Excel skills (experience using Agresso will be highly advantageous)
