Healthcare Assistant (HomeClinic) salary: £18 - £32 per hour depending on experience + Travel allowance
Field based roles out in the community – In and around the Greater London area (Zones 1-6)

HomeClinic is a new business within Newcross Healthcare supporting patients in receiving easier access to hospital level care, in the comfort of their own home. Currently supported by our existing business network, you’ll help to guide our innovative plans for community services
Your role will include, but will not be limited to:
- At the direction of the Registered Nurse, participate fully in the delivery of planned nursing and personal care for our patients within their home
- To be aware of our patient’s emotional, social and physical needs
- Provide information to enable the effectiveness of care to be evaluated and records maintained
- Recognise and respond appropriately to urgent and emergency situations
- Updating patient records
- Maintaining an organised and clean work area within the patient home, in-line with health and safety regulations and the guidelines of the medical institution
- Answering patient questions regarding their appointment and proving further information where appropriate
- Assessing the patients safety after the procedure and advising or taking steps to ensure their clinical safety should this be necessary
- Working closely with the Registered Manager and Clinical Governance team and ensuring legal compliance standards are met
- Ensuring compliance with external regulators, (CQC)
- Ability to work in a hands on capacity where required in order to promote the level of care expected
- Educating and supporting colleagues
- Be the key driver of ensuring the people we support are having a quality service and continuity of care

Person Specification:
- Have healthcare experience within the last 3 months
- Strong organisational, prioritising and time management skills within a fast-paced setting
- Self-starter with strong personal drive to achieve results
- Resilience within a fast-paced environment and can manage impacts in a positive ‘can do’ way
- Confident and sufficient to work remotely
- Active team player who builds and maintains professional relationships externally/internally
- Recognises the need to maintain a professional level of confidentiality
- Customer relationship management
- Takes responsibility for self-development and actively seeks way to improve own performance
