Able Carers are a home care service and are based in North Yorkshire. We are looking for friendly, caring people to join our team to provide care and support to clients in the local community of Selby.
At Able Carers, we pride ourselves in giving high quality care to all our service users and ensure they are able to live independently in their own homes. We are looking for people with a passion for care, with a drive to change others lives, and that can make a difference for others. We provide full training as well as shadowing shifts, and can help you kick start your care career.
The Role:
Supporting clients with personal cares, preparing meals, administering medication, domestic duties, shopping. Social calls and companionship.
Shift Pattern:
Our shifts are 7am - 2pm and 3pm - 10pm, we also have options to work long days (12 hour shifts).
Alternate weekends.
Requirements:
We welcome both experienced carers and people new to the role.
A car is essential for your training which will be based in York. You will need transport to travel between clients in Selby i.e. car/bike.
