ShareThe Data Insights Officer will be integral to the success of the Department of Development & Alumni Relations. We hold a vast amount of data with huge potential to use this data to inform our strategy and plans and help us meet our goals.
About the role
The department has recently been through some considerable changes, with significant investment in the team and a new senior leadership structure in place, making it an exciting time to join and be part of a new chapter in the University's philanthropic journey.
As the Data Insights Officer, you will be responsible for producing insights from the wealth of data we have available. You will deliver existing reporting and analytics requirements and translate individual and team data needs into clear outputs. This makes for a very rewarding role, where you will see the immediate impact of your work through the key decisions the insights will help drive.
This role is offered on a full time (36.5 hours per week) permanent basis.
About you
It is important that the Data Insights Officer has the technical ability outlined in the job description, but to truly succeed in the role you will also need to be able to:
- Combine a passion for data and a curious nature to develop important insights
- Possess the ability to influence others and drive behaviour change to support improved data collection and insights
- Be a brilliant communicator, able to translate complex insights into simple and compelling narrative for all audiences
