Female Home Care Workers | Reading | Full/ Part Time | £15.50 per hour flat rate.
We are looking someone who can work a range of hours including early mornings, evenings an alternate weekend. When required you will also be supporting the team to ensure all client visits are covered and helping people to stay in the homes they love.

- You must have weekend availability
- As a Carer you must be sensitive and responsive to, race, culture, religion, age, disability, gender and sexuality
Your role will include, but will not be limited to
- Providing support and encouragement to empower the client to lead an independent lifestyle
- Providing companionship and conversation
- Shopping
- Meal preparation, cooking and assisting with eating
- Providing personal care
- Accompanying clients to appointments
- Driving clients to desired places
- Light domestic tasks and general household duties
- Recording and reporting; to write and maintain accurate records of care on a daily basis
- To accurately complete Medication Administration Records (MAR charts) in accordance with policies and procedures where this is part of the care plan (once fully trained)
- Assisting with prescribed medication
- Maintain awareness, understanding and adherence to Company rules and policies and procedures as set out in the Employee Handbook
- Treat all clients with respect and dignity
- Maintain personal and client safety by adhering to proper Health & Safety procedures
- Attend/complete mandatory training

Please note:
Home Care means any work involving short (e.g. 1 hour calls, day sits, shifts, sleepovers) and we would normally ask that you are available for a minimum of 16 hours per week with some availability during the evenings and some weekends.
