Home-Based Out of Hours Call Centre Agent
Location: Remote/Home-based
Salary: 10.50 £ / hr

All you need to become a RT247 HomeAgent is a modern Windows PC/ laptop,
accessories which meet our requirements and Previous call centre or customer
service experience.
We are currently recruiting for Home-Based Out of Hours Call Centre Agents to join our
team. As a Home-Based Out of Hours Call Centre Agent, you will be responsible for
providing excellent customer service to our clients outside of normal business hours,
including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
We are looking for flexible and reliable call centre agents to take inbound calls from housing
residents about emergency repairs.
We work weekdays evenings from 4pm and weekends 24/7 .
We have several positions to fill for part time shift patterns across weekend hours with a
variety of shift patterns on a fixed or rotational basis as well as a flexibility to pick up open
shifts during weekdays when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Answering inbound calls and responding to customer inquiries in a timely and professional
manner.
- Providing customer support and resolving issues in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Documenting all customer interactions and maintaining accurate records.
- Adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Meeting or exceeding call handling and customer service targets.
Requirements:
- Previous call centre or customer service experience
- Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and self-motivated with excellent time-management skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must work from somewhere in the UK
- Must have access to a Windows laptop/ PC, corded phone with a headset/ USB
headset with microphone , high-speed internet (no Wifi) and a quiet/ secluded
workspace with a desk and chair.
** Please note : Apple computers are not supported. Wireless cellular network or Wi-Fi
connections are not allowed

Training
Full training will be provided as part of the onboarding & induction process and will involve
‘classroom’ training sessions followed by a comprehensive ‘real-world’ buddying , coaching
and mentoring programme once you ‘go live’ with handling calls.
Shifts
Shifts are allocated on a 3 Monthly ‘lock and roll’ basis ; meaning shifts are broadly fixed 3
months in advance with minor adjustments subject to monthly review.
Typical shift options range from 4-6 hour shift cycles ; although multiple shorter shifts of 2-4
hours (Typically early evening during the week and early morning - early afternoon at
weekends ) as well as some late evenings are also being considered.
