If you’d like to be part of our team then we’d love to hear from you as we have an exciting opportunity for a full-time permanent Hire Counter/Tester/Driver. Whilst you’ll be based at our Oldham Branch, you will also be required to work out of our Rochdale Branch from time to time.
Hours of work: 41.23 Hours Monday- Friday between 07:30am-17:00pm, 1-hour unpaid break & 16 Saturdays 08:00am-12:00pm
What you’ll be doing:
- Ensuring all hire equipment is prepared correctly before each hire and is ready for re-hire as required by the branch
- Ensuring all post hire checks are carried out and any damage/missing items/faults are clearly identifiable on the machine and reported to the mechanical fitter/branch manager in a timely fashion.
- Assisting customers/drivers/counter staff with loading and unloading equipment.
- Delivering & collecting hire equipment to customers
- Providing excellent customer service in accordance with Frank Key values and to promote the Company's good image at all times.
- Adherence to Health and Safety procedures and guidelines at all times
What you’ll need
- Knowledge of Hire Equipment (Preferred)
- Basic ability to inspect and maintain mechanical equipment. (Essential)
- Previous experience in a customer facing role and working in a fast-paced commercial environment with previous experience of driving vehicles (Preferred)
- Good work ethic, attention to detail and ability to work unsupervised as well as in a team. (Essential)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills. (Essential)
- Must hold a full Driving Licence. (Clean licence preferred) (Essential)
