Commercial Vehicle Movements Ltd require HGV Drivers (Class2, Class1) for immediate start on a self employed contract basis

Job Description

The role in brief comprises ;

• The collection and delivery of all vehicle types, driven on trade plates.
• Vehicle inspection on collection and delivery using bespoke software.
• Drivers are expected to generally make their own way between delivery and next collection points. (All justified travel expense between jobs will be fully reimbursed by CVM)
• We pay drivers per vehicle delivery, based on a mileage chart with a 30 mile minimum payment. CVM Ltd pride ourselves on being one of the best paying companies within our market area.
• Training will be provided on all aspects of the job.
• We will provide full Uniform on completion of a probationary period.
• We will provide all equipment needed to perform your duties i.e Trade plates / insurance / fuel cards / PDA /Phone ( if required )
• All drivers will self invoice using the App we provide which will include all deliveries completed and any expenses approved.
• **Please note there are no set hours so will mean varying Start and finish times (not suitable for someone after 9-5)**

Whats expected/required from you

• Must have a Class 2/Class 1 Licence
• Must be presentable & have the ability to conduct yourself in a professional & Polite manner.
• Must be able to think on your feet & React to unexpected situations.
• Knowledge of UK roads and ability to use public transport.
• Vehicles to be driven professionally and courteous at all times.
• Off road parking i.e. garage/driveway at your registered address for those times you may take a smaller vehicle home for the night. (Preferred but not essential)

Salary: £650.00-£1,200.00 per week
