Job description
Duties Include:
- Performing major and minor repairs to heavy goods vehicles, trailers, and other vehicles in the company fleet
- Performing regular inspections and general preventive maintenance services such as tire rotation and oil changes
- Carrying out servicing checks on the electrical systems and diagnosing any faulty components and fit replacements
- Reassembles, tests, tunes, and adjusts the relevant parts, systems, or entire engine; removes, dismantles, repairs, and replaces damaged parts; and prepares new parts.
- Maintaining records of vehicles that have been repaired or handled
- Providing repair services to clients on the road in case of emergencies
Skills:
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic level of numeracy and literacy, in order to complete work documentation
- All mandatory VOSA Inspections and MOT Preparations
- Fault diagnosis and repair
- Stripping, fitting and replacing components
- Multi manufacturer experience preferred.
- Should be self motivated with initiative.
- To work in a productive workshop on our own fleet of vehicles.

Salary: From £30,000.00 per year
