We are currently recruiting for our Newark Motor Auctions site - one of the largest used car auctions in the UK. Our team has been successfully helping customers buy and sell vehicles since our first auction back 1971. Now in our fifth decade, we have become the area’s go-to auto auction for members of the public and motor trade professionals wanting a quick, simple and effective way to buy or sell a used vehicle.

We are looking to recruit a Driver - HGV Car Transport due to increase workload within the finance and private collection team.

Duties of Driver - HGV Car Transport:

• Day to day collection of all types of vehicles (motorbikes, vans, cars and caravans) across the UK
• Vehicles collected may be non-runners with no keys so the use of the winch will be involved, training will be provided
• Dealing with internal and external customers so strong customer service and communication skills will be involved
• Using technology to take and send/email photographs of vehicles and reports of vehicle condition via mobile phone
• Representing Stoneacre and Newark Motor Auctions to a high level in all duties conducted

Details:

• 50-55 hours per week across Monday to Friday
• Overnight hours due to the line of work involved and the distances covered
• 20 days holiday plus statutory

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• HGV Class 2 qualification
• Winch experience desirable but not essential as training will be provided
• Good communication skills
• Good technology skills
