We are recruiting HGV Tanker Drivers to help build a brand-new team based at our Falmer depot, to provide a rescue service to our customers, helping to restore and maintain water supply during an interruption or planned maintenance.
Your primary purpose will be to drive and operate the tankers and undertake activities to connect into existing network infrastructure to restore supply, either during unplanned events or supporting planned works.
Alongside this you will maintain your vehicle and equipment and keep them in good working order.
You will be covering Sussex, Kent, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight working on a rotational shift pattern including days and nights, with ad-hoc travel and overnight stays, and the best news we pay for your hotel and food when you do you have to stay away from home.
You will receive a salary up to £41,200 including shift allowance, overtime rate, with other benefits including up to 11% pension contribution; performance related annual bonus; 25 days holiday, Perk Box (discount scheme); BUPA health cash plan and the opportunity to join a company where your development and training is important.
We are looking for individuals who have at least one years’ experience in operating tankers or HGV’s, with a full driving licence and CPC, we provide a full 5-week training programme and any financial support needed towards your CPC.
