Opportunity:
We are hiring an experienced talent acquisition professional to work with our clients, all of whom have social and/or environmental impact at the heart of their mission. Internally, you will also enable us to grow across our three business units: Capital, Consulting and Talent. You will work with our internal hiring managers and with our purpose-driven clients to source, screen, select and attract the very best talent who share our vision for people and planetary health.

Responsibilities:
- Liaise and collaborate with hiring managers in Sagana business units to identify hiring needs and implement recruitment strategies
- Build an ongoing pipeline of candidates in Capital, Consulting, and Talent
- Manage the entire recruitment life cycle from talent planning to offer acceptance including conducting formal manager intake sessions, developing job descriptions, providing weekly updates, screening candidates for skills, experience, and culture add, overseeing the interview process and generating compensation recommendations
- Collaborate with the sourcing team to ensure a constant flow of high-quality potential candidates
- Ensure positive candidate experience and guide candidates through the entire recruitment process, including providing information on Sagana’s vision, the business units, and our culture and values
- Track candidates and recruitment process and flow in the ATS system
- Develop positive relationships based on continuous communication and collaboration with all Sagana Hiring Managers and Partners, including client leadership teams
- Champion diversity and inclusion by educating managers on unconscious bias, writing gender-neutral job descriptions and creating inclusive candidates slates
Skills and Experience:
- At least 5 years of global talent acquisition experience. Must have experience successfully recruiting for science and engineering roles
- Executive search firm, RPO, or recruiting agency experience preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in sourcing, screening, selection, negotiation, onboarding, and diversity & inclusion
- Experience with talent acquisition engagements from talent planning to offer acceptance, ideally for venture capital-backed startups
- Advanced interpersonal skills, with an ability to work well within a multi-culturally diverse team
- Ability to develop positive working relationships with a variety of stakeholders such as entrepreneurs and investors
- Experience using ATS systems, a bonus if you have used Lever
- Fluency in English. Knowledge of other languages is a value add
