Job description
We are currently seeking a driver to join our small family run business. Chris Reed Transport has been trading since 1979. Now in its second family generation and expanding at a steady rate, we look to hire additional part time staff to compliment our full time crew.
We are looking for professional drivers who take pride in both the job and their truck.
The role we are currently advertising would suit a semi retired driver looking for some regular part time work and pay, also hours available for guys perhaps not on the road full time and are looking to earn a days pay on the weekend, or even a newish driver looking to get some experience with a view to gaining a full time job. We have regular weekend work, holiday cover and extra loads towards the end of the week.
Our modern fleet of Scania’s are based on Lancaster Way business park Witchford. All shifts will start and end here, we specialise in both temperature controlled and curtain side haulage so there is a good variation of loads on offer. On average each shift is 8-10 hours, no nights out!
A complete driver CPC card would be and advantage but can be provided to the right candidate. Ongoing annual training will also be provided.
