The Opportunity:

Working as one of our HGV Ambassadors based in Baillieston Glasgow ,you will be responsible for delivering to Euro Car Parts stores (maximum 4 deliveries a night)

Salary:The salary will be £41,000 per annum plus bonus (equivalent £43,496). Additional potential earnings are available with overtime payments

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure all EU and UK driving regulations are adhered to at all times including following the highway code and tacho-graph legislation to ensure you safety and the safety of others.
• Drive safe and courteously at all times as an ambassador of the company.
• Understand and comply with company safe working practices at all times.
• Have good communication skills and the ability to adapt to change.
• Ensure all relevant paperwork and administration is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
• Prioritise work load to ensure the customer comes first.
• Have a good understanding of the UK road network to ensure all overnight deliveries are made in full and on time.
• Have the ability to work alone and use own initiative.
• Assist with additional duties to support in achieving departmental targets and to maintain the working environment in a clean and tidy condition.
• Always promote a positive image of LKQ Euro Car Parts.

Qualifications:

• Class 1 (CAT C+E) entitlement with a minimum of 6 months continuous experience (desirable).
• Full Driver CPC and up to date tach-graph Card.
• Clean license preferred.

Working hours:

• Full time position (48 hour contracts) with immediate starts.
• 5 shift per week Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday
• Rotation system (start times between 9pm and 2am)
