Eurasia Group is the world’s leading political risk advisory and consulting firm. Our mission is to assist investors, companies, and public-sector institutions capitalize on the opportunities and manage the risks created by the impact of politics and policy on markets around the world.
We are seeking an intern to support account management and new sales for our Energy, Climate, and Resources team. The intern will support work for energy, mining, agriculture, and chemical sector clients, as well as Eurasia Group’s climate and sustainability work.
This internship will provide opportunities to learn about account management, sales, and relationship management. The intern will also have opportunities to learn about the field of political risk analysis and to network with Eurasia Group analysts.
The internship will be conducted remotely, but there may be in-person opportunities in the DC, NYC, or London offices.
Applicants must be students at an academic institution.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients by setting up account access to Eurasia Group’s publications
- Research potential new clients
- Track leads and follow up after managing directors’ meetings
- Track client news and prepare briefings on client priorities (such as recent mergers and acquisitions) for managing directors
- Take notes in client meetings
- Support planning for Eurasia Group’s engagements during roadshows and events
Qualifications:
- Must be currently enrolled in an academic institution
- Applicants must be students at an academic institution
- Educational background in business, sales, or related field
- Strong writing skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Intellectual curiosity, creativity, and a team-oriented mindset
- Experience with Salesforce is desirable, but not essential
- Familiarity with consulting projects is desirable, but not essential
- Full business proficiency in the English language
