Job description
A small but busy facilities team that manage the day to day services that provide essential support to wards and departments at the FNCH.
Will be responsible for the receipt of all calls incoming externally and internally. Redirection of all calls within the LRCH. Receipt of controlled drugs and other parcels including an out of hours service. Dealing with all helpdesk issues, collating the information, specific details, logging tasks and informing the caller of job reference numbers and response times. Assisting with the daily activities within a community hospital. Allocation of portering requests and duties. Managing key registers and radio procedures
The successful applicants will have the full support of the Management team. Training requirements will be discussed and agreed through the talent mapping.
The shift pattern is a 3 week internal rota, covering the times, 06:00 - 14:00, 16:30 - 22:00, 14:00 - 22:00 , 06:00 - 11:30, 11:00 - 16:30.
Must be flexible to cover annual leave and absence.
Applicants must be excellent communicators. The ability to communicate at all levels and interact with all staff groups. Understanding of a number of work procedures and emergency procedures including Fire. The individual must have experience of working within a care environment and understand NHS procedures, and have good customer care skills, be IT literate, working within a team. Applicants must be of smart appearance for this front of house position.

Allocate portering tasks using a radio system.
Working with the couriers to ensure samples and mail and pharmacy is collected.
Completing paperwork to ensure compliance. Following IG protocols.
