A technology hub based in Bristol with a dedicated collaboration space, our local team of 70 technologists, systems engineers and digital experts work with clients to find and build solutions.
For this role, you will be part of the TechWorks Delivery Draft, a community of delivery-orientated experts to support you and your practice.

As a business analyst you are the go between for business communities to translate customers’ business needs into functional requirements that will enable digital transformation. You will be the facilitator to ensure the business needs are met and are being consistently delivered throughout product lifecycles, thereby uniting people, processes and tech.
As a business analyst we’d like you to:
- Be tenacious and when needed have the ability to confidently, challenge the ‘why’ and the ‘so what’.
- Willing to try new approaches and push yourself outside your comfort zone
- Know agile methodologies (e.g., Kanban, SAFe, XP, Scrum)
- Conduct in depth analysis utilising a range of techniques and processes to gather, define and articulate requirements to support development and project delivery.
- Facilitate continuous engagement with end users and client stakeholders to ensure requirements and deliverables remain relevant to changing needs and stay in line with the project vision.
- Champion the need for clear acceptance criteria, functional and non-functional testing requirements working closely with the development team and end users.
- Be confident in presenting to business stakeholders the impact of functional decisions and the overall vision.
- Be comfortable working in a fast-pace, variable environment

Overall, you’re an ideas person and problem solver as well as a hands-on doer – that’s important. You know it takes a mix of people to do amazing work, so you love collaborating with and learning from people with different skills, backgrounds and perspectives. If you have an interesting or unusual mix of skills yourself, even better.
- Holds UK security clearance to Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV) level.
- Experience in designing, building, and maintaining secure cloud infrastructure using AWS services.
- Strong experience in containerisation and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, K8ts, AWS EKS and OpenShift)
- Strong experience in designing, building and maintaining infrastructure with IaC (e.g., Terraform and CloudFormation) and scripting languages (e.g., shell and Python).
- Experience in enabling team development and delivery through technology (e.g., Jenkins, GIT, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence) and creation/ maintenance of technical documentation.
- Experience in leading and coaching others to build scalable solutions.
Desirable
- AWS Certifications
- Exposure to setting up and maintaining databases (managed and unmanaged)
- Experience of working with other cloud environments; Azure and GC.
- Experience of working in an Agile environment (Scrum or Kanban)

Personal independence
Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints. This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm.
