Job description

We Staff have partnered with a superb and well established glass-manufacturing company based in North West London.

With huge, prestigious operations that run nationally, they are in need of a keen and experienced HIAB Driver to ensure the seamless delivery flow that our client achieves day in and day out.

You must have experience with driving and operating a HIAB vehicle with a fitted hook

For now, the contract is for only two weeks starting on Wednesday the 26th going to the 11th of August.

After the two weeks are up, the client will consider you for full time employment.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow the "customer order process" to complete all stages of the delivery and pick up of trucks.
  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Communicate with customers and the transport team on any issues or problems that may arise.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work area.
  • Follow all truck driving rules and regulations at all times (including but not limited to following all traffic laws, including driving without a valid license, making stops at traffic lights, etc.)

  • Keep inside equipment (e.g. cargo space) to deliver goods to customers safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain good trucking skills (e.g. knowing when to call for help).
  • When needed, assist your peers with technical problems or troubleshooting issues.

Qualifications:

Tacho Card, CPC and all relevant certifications
