- Do you hold a full and valid CPC?

- Do you hold a full HGV licence with HIAB?

We are looking for an experienced HGV Driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods from one location to another, following all applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate should have a valid HGV license with HIAB, excellent driving skills, and the ability to read maps and follow directions. The successful candidate must also be able to work independently and maintain accurate records of deliveries.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 6am-4pm with alternative Saturdays 7am - 1pm

Responsibilities:

• Drive the vehicle in a safe and responsible manner.
• Load and unload cargo in accordance with safety regulations.
• To operate all vehicle systems including HIAB
• Maintain records of trips, cargo, and vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect truck for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Navigate routes using maps and GPS systems

What we are looking for:

• You must hold a full HGV licence with HIAB (expired accepted), with no more than 3 points on your licence
• Have full and valid CPC qualifications.
• Knowledge of driving legislation particularly tachograph requirements
• Good planning skills and the ability to show initiative and a strong positive attitude
• Self-motivated
• You will need to be physically fit and possess a good level of literacy
