The Role
The main responsibility within the role is to comply with NADCAP requirements and take full responsibility for the furnaces. You will be working with metals like stainless steels, Ni- and Co- based super alloys.

Your daily performance will be to set up and operate heating equipment and approve the HT cycles. You will complete periodical testing including but not limited to SAT, TUS, leak rate, O-T, hardness and Spectron and so much more. Assist in NADCAP audits and maintain the standards. To complete all the requirements you will need to have heat treatment and Furness testing experience.

At Chard Precision Castings we have an exciting opportunity for a Heat Treatment Technician to join our amazing team.
We are looking to recruit on full time, permanent basis a Heat Treatment Technician who will be working 37 hours per week (Fridays half days). You will be joining a team of skilled colleagues who will support you on daily basis.
