Job description

We are an established schoolwear, uniform and workwear supplier. We are looking for a Heat HPOPress Operator/Warehouse Assistant to join our small, friendly team. The role includes using a heat press machine quickly and efficiently, and supporting our warehouse team when needed, in all aspects of our production to ensure our orders are delivered on time, every time, to a high standard.

Your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Operation of the heat press machine to apply logos and wording to garments.
• Assisting in the production of heat applied transfers using a plotter cutter
• Weeding transfers ready to use
• Organisation and checking of garments to be printed
• Quality control of all aspects of application and ensuring all products despatched to our customers meet our high quality standards
• Finishing and packing of printed items.
• Ensuring the heat press and working area is kept clean and tidy
• Other duties to include assisting with the logo design and production
• Checking in and storing goods received from suppliers and reconciling to the original purchase order
• Assisting with order packing and dispatch of school uniforms at peak times
• Maintaining a high standard of work
• Being comfortable talking to customers on the telephone and in person
• Maintaining records and accurate filing systems

Salary

• Negotiable depending on experience, reviewed after six months

Schedule:

• Flexitime over two to three days per week

Experience:

• Previous experience in similar role would be beneficial but full training can be given to the right candidate, however applicants should have a keen eye for detail and be able to work to deadlines.

• In person at one location

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16-24 per week

Salary: £10.18-£11.50 per hour
