The role
We are looking for an Associate to join the Fixed Retail Insurers Supervision Team in the Market Interventions Insurance Division at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). We welcome applications from a variety of backgrounds as we continue to build a diverse and inclusive workforce.

What you will be doing
Many of the retail and health insurance firms we supervise are household names. Working in the Fixed Insurance Department gives you the opportunity to be at the heart of our insurance supervision strategy, helping ensure firms and markets work well so that customers get a fair deal.
On joining us, you will work as part of a team and your role will involve regular engagement with one or more of the firms we supervise. It can range from supporting more experienced colleagues prepare for meetings with CEOs, reviewing Board Papers or helping with a range of reactive issues. Day to day it’s a very varied role!

The skills and experience you’ll have

Minimum
- Proven experience building rapport and constructive relationships with key contacts, both internally and externally
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
