This program is designed to recruit new candidates to fill positions in various hospitals in the Glasgow area. Here are the key details from the announcement: Advance Applications: The recruitment program is currently accepting advance applications from candidates interested in becoming Health Care Support Workers in the specified hospitals. Recruitment Staffing Pool: All received applications will be placed in a recruitment staffing pool. Candidates will be appointed based on merit and their preferences for a specific location, as well as their skills and experience. Location-Based Appointments: Appointments will be made by location, in accordance with available vacancies. This means that you may be placed in a hospital based on the availability of positions, your skills, and your preferences. No Immediate Vacancy Guarantee: It's important to note that this recruitment campaign is for advance applications, and there are no guarantees that vacancies will be available immediately in your preferred location. Acute Hospital Sites: The recruitment is for positions in various acute hospital sites in the Greater Glasgow and Clyde area, including: Glasgow Royal Infirmary Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Royal Alexandra Hospital Inverclyde Royal Hospital Reserve Lists: If you are successful in your application but there are not enough vacancies at your preferred location, you will be placed on a reserve list for up to 6 months. This means you might be considered for a position if one becomes available within the specified time frame.
