Job description

The Healthcare Science Assistant will be required to assist Audiologists with their duties. Mainly this will involve working in the adult hearing aid service and may include assisting paediatric audiologists with hearing assessments of young children and babies and the potential for carrying out school screening hearing clinics autonomously. The post holder will perform a range of routine tasks, autonomously where possible, specifically for hearing aid rehabilitation to ensure an efficient provision of the service. It is a requirement of this role to provide reception cover on a busy reception desk as necessary. Specific Knowledge will be acquired through training and experience.
