An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen to join the well established nursing team within the Endoscopy Unit at Ninewells Hospital. This busy department provides a seven day service providing diagnostic and therapeutic services for a variety of investigations including Colonoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Gastroscopy, Urology, Bronchoscopy, EUS and ERCP for both out-patients and in-patients.
We are looking for an individual who will enjoy working in a challenging environment. A large part of the Healthcare Support Worker role involves the decontamination of endoscopes. Previous experience in this type of work would be an advantage.
There may be a requirement to travel and work at Perth Royal Infirmary Endoscopy Unit.
We want our Endoscopy Units to be places where patients come first, therefore we require an individual who will work as part of the Unit team, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective care for patients.
Your performance must comply with the national “Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers 2009” and with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers.
