Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual looking to make a positive impact on someone's life? We are currently seeking a Healthcare Assistant to provide personalised support and care for a young boy with a spinal injury. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference and help enhance the quality of life for an individual with unique needs.
Our service user is 8 years old and lives at home with his family and loving pets in Nottingham, he requires care throughout the day and night on a 1:1 basis.
We are looking for engaging individuals who are happy to assist him to enjoy his hobbies and interests such as arts and crafts, creating models, and playing with his toy cars. He likes to read books with his care team and watch TV; he especially enjoys watching YouTube.
We are looking for a dedicated team to provide specialised care with his complex needs. Your role will include accompanying him to his educational setting and supporting him there throughout the day with his clinical care needs, encouraging play and development.
Throughout the night you will be assisting with repositioning and any clinical interventions. You will need to be vigilant, make close observations, and offer reassurance and comfort to settle him back to sleep if he awakes.

Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
Essential Experience Required
- 3 months of previous care experience
- Medication Administration
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
Desirable Experience
- Tracheostomy Care
- Ventilator Management
- Oral Suctioning
- Cough Assist
- Nebuliser Care
We have the following shifts available;
- Part-Time 2-3 shifts per week
- Days 8.15am-3.30pm
- Nights- 8pm - 8am

Weekdays : £12.50 per hour (£90.62 approx. per 7.25 hour shift)
Saturday : £13.50 per hour(£162 approx. per 12 hour shift)
Sunday : £14.00 per hour (£168 approx. per 12 hour shift)
Bank Holiday : £15.00 per hour(£108.75 approx. per 7.25 hour shift)
