Newington Ward is a busy, Acute medical admissions unit for over 75 year old frail patients.
We are a 28 bedded unit with a multi-disciplinary team working to assess, treat and discharge patients within 5-9days we are looking for Health care Assistants to join our Team,
The Health Care Assistant (Band 2) is a member of the care team who will support Registered Practitioner in the delivery of routine patient care. The Health Care Assistant will undertake a broad range of care activities under the direct supervision of a Registered Practitioner.
Hospital experience is desirable but not essential. A minimum of NVQ2 two in health and social care or the equivalent. This post is to cover Maternity leave Fixed Term or secondment opportunity up to 12 months.
We will provide a supportive atmosphere, mentorship and clinical supervision on the ward and are committed to professional development of all staff. Team working is an integral part of this ward with all staff enabled and empowered to make a real difference for their patients.
