Job description
The Organic Pantry is an award-winning organic food retailer based on a family farm in Tadcaster. The business prides itself on taking food from seed to sale and delivering high-quality, sustainable fresh produce to the local area.
The role is split between working in the warehouse, picking and packing fresh produce and out on the road delivering to homes and businesses. The role is Tuesday- Saturday ( we finish earlier on Saturdays depending on how busy we are).
Duties and responsibilities (include but are not limited to)
- Picking and packing fresh produce.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean and safe at all times.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including Health & Safety.
- Load and deliver wholesale and retail orders according to a preplanned route, undertaking a pre-start and adhering to the rules of the road at all times.
The candidate will need to.
- Have good communication skills and a good command of English, verbal and written.
- Have excellent attention to detail and be able to follow instructions.
- The ability to work under pressure and to targets.
- Be self-motivated, the ability to work on their own or be part of a team.
- Have good customer service skills.
