What you will be doing You’ll be working with prison transfer service users, who will be with us for 12- 22 weeks as part of their assessment and stabilisation of acute mental health episode, where you’ll have a positive impact on their lives. With a large supportive team that works well together in a higher end of risk environment, every service user will be fully risk assessed with sufficient staff available to provide the appropriate level of supervised care and a high focused on safety and security. As a Healthcare Assistant you will ensure service users receive high-quality care, while supporting your colleagues and promoting good teamwork. The shift patterns include working nights and weekends, 12 hours a day, 3-4 days a week. Where you will be working Location: Westpark 26, Chelston, Wellington, Somerset, TA21 9FF Join the multidisciplinary team at Wellesley Hospital which provides care to men and women across several wards with a range of mental health conditions in a modern and purpose-built hospital with low and medium secure environments. Wellesley Hospital is conveniently located near Wellington, close to the M5 and commutable from Taunton, Exeter, Yeovil and surrounding areas.
