Weldmar at Home is our expanding service that offers end of life care to patients in their own homes in the last four weeks of their lives, in the comfort of their familiar surroundings.
You'll need to be empathetic and compassionate, with good communication skills, because as well as providing respectful and dignified care for the patient, you'll also support the family by providing guidance, advice, and reassurance, which makes a huge difference to the end of life experience of all those involved.
You'll benefit from a wealth of support services from us whilst you are part of the team, including free counselling for work and non-work matters, as well as lots of training and development opportunities.
To apply for this role, you'll need to possess NVQ Level 3 or higher in care or from a relevant role, and have a minimum of two years’ working experience of direct care giving. Experience of delivering care at end of life is desirable.
