HR Business Partner- Covering South East England

What we’re looking for:
We are looking for an exceptional HR Business Partner, able to demonstrate experience in a generalist Human Resources role while supporting and coaching senior company Directors and senior leadership teams. It would be great if you have a background in our sector but if you haven’t worked in this industry, that’s okay, we will support your learning to help you develop with us.
- Experience providing HR support in a multisite retail setting would be extremely beneficial
- Demonstrable experience in partnering strategically with stakeholders at all levels in driving organisational change with the ability to support and influence operational/functional teams in achieving their plans and objectives
- Previous experience of coaching managers in performance improvement and managing change
- Commercial awareness, and in particular, an understanding of how to take a ‘customer first’ approach
- Digital mindset and highly IT literate with the ability to use data to influence, challenge and support the delivery of operational/functional plans in line with the Jewson purpose and values
- Able to collaborate effectively with managers and colleagues at all levels and across Saint-Gobain, and adapt appropriate influencing techniques to gain successful outcomes
- Preferable experience of competency-based selection and psychometric testing
- Comfortable working with ambiguity, resilient and curious and open to learning and sharing
- Strong employment law understanding from a practical point of view
Ideal but not essential;
- MCIPD qualified
- ILM Level 5+ Coach or equivalent
What will I be doing in the role?
- Support, facilitate and coach operational/functional teams in improving the colleague experience, using data to inform solutions and decisions
- Coach operational/functional teams through role modelling behaviours and actively keeping coaching on the agenda to support the sustainability of a coaching culture
- Support and coach managers in improving diversity and inclusion within the region/function, through influencing stakeholders, role modelling and proactively identifying solutions
- Research customer insight; understand the customers’ needs and be proactive on how we can deliver “more profit, less hassle”, providing constructive challenge where required
- Support managers in identifying and developing talent, through delivery of the digital L&D programme, people review and succession planning, and supporting the implementation of all organisational development programmes
- Take an active role in complex employee relations cases within the region/function
