Customer Service Assistant
ABOUT THE ROLE:
You will be working for Stolle Machinery, the world’s leading supplier of two piece can and end-making machinery for the global can making industry.
Working within the Customer Service team, ensuring all customer orders and enquiries relating to spare parts are dealt with and executed to schedule and meeting customer expectations. You will work closely with the purchasing team to ensure parts are ordered on time and at the right price and that the dispatch is on time for customer.
Were looking for someone who has a positive outlook and is detail focused with good interpersonal skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handling customer enquiries on quotations and issuing prices and delivery dates for spare parts.
- Processing customer orders, issuing order acknowledgments confirming prices and despatch dates.
- Managing any urgent customer requirements outside their agreed shipment dates.
- Arrange urgent direct shipments from suppliers to customers.
- Ensure that all the agreed paperwork is issued accordingly in relation to orders, shipments, Customs, and other agencies.
- Where necessary create Customs documentation for export shipments.
- Handle returns to Stolle Europe, or quality defects from customers & suppliers and arrange replacements, credits, or repairs.
- Liaise with other departments within Stolle to solve Customer problems.
- Other duties as defined by your manager
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- · GCSE in Maths/English or equivalent
- · Competent in use of ERP system and Microsoft
- · Previous experience working in customer service, manufacturing, or stores environment would be an advantage.
- · Knowledge of Engineering environment an advantage
