The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice is a well-established charity, based in a new purpose built home located within Bellahouston Park. The Hospice provides specialist palliative care for people with life-limiting and progressive illnesses, providing care and support for their families and carers.
As one of our dedicated Healthcare Assistants you will be a highly motivated and compassionate person withempathy and an understanding of issues encountered by patients with palliative care needs.
You will be able to demonstrate a commitment to quality, putting patients and families at the heart of all you do and to work as part of a team alongside our trained nursing staff.
With a focus on getting it right for every patient and every family, every time, you will be able to demonstrate that you are committed to treating everyone with dignity and respect. In addition, you will have the opportunity to develop your flexibility and adaptability as you work collaboratively within our multi-disciplinary hospice team. Previous experience of working within a healthcare setting, as well as working as part of a team in a similar role is desirable for this post.
