We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic, reliable and adaptable Health Care Assistants to join well established Nursing Teams around the site of Rampton Hospital.
Rampton Hospital is one of three high secure hospitals in the country providing a range of highly specialised services to patients who experience a mental health problem, personality disorder or learning disability combined with a history of offending behaviour.
The hospital is host to a number of national high secure services including the services for women, learning disability and deaf patients.
We provide a range of treatment pathways for patients with complex needs including psychological, occupational and educational approaches to support their recovery.
Our Trust offers a comprehensive induction programme and opportunities for continued personal and professional development through ongoing training, education, supervision and appraisals.
Participate as a member of the nursing team in delivering appropriate care packages with other disciplines as required within a secure environment working within well established procedures, carrying out care duties with supervision available and close by.
You will be providing and maintaining a high standard of care, facilitating therapeutic / meaningful activities for patients on the ward.
Liaising closely with other health and social care professionals as well as patients, relatives and carers.
Undertake, record and report clinical observations as directed by registered staff.
Always act in a manner to promote and safeguard the interests and wellbeing of patients.
Actively promote a responsible caring attitude at all times, treating all patients with dignity and respect.
