Salter Grange is recruiting an Electrical Engineer for one of Europe's most prestigious Data Centres builders. They are General Contractors leading the way in innovation sustainability in the Data Centre world.
The project is West London, for a blue-chip technology company investing heavily in the region to expand its Data Centre services.
The facility construction is divided into multiple phases, resulting in a significant IT power capacity of 12 MW. This project presents a great opportunity to work on an extensive construction undertaking with a sizable IT power capacity.

Electrical Engineer Responsibilities:
- Develop quality plans, manuals, documents and systems
- Ensure that all documentation and certification is complete and checked prior to final handover
- Attend and co-ordinate weekly meetings with the client, subcontractors & suppliers
- Documents Control - Reviewing and revising documentation to incorporate changes to company policies
- Reporting and ensuring that the current QA/QC procedures used on projects are standardised and integrated into the Company QA/QC Manual.
- Creation of installed drawings and O&M Manuals.
- Prepare technical submittals, builders work drawings and record drawings
- Report where required to the Project Manager and Commercial Manager on schedule and cost implications of Engineering designs and changes.
- Ensure the adherence to company's safety and quality standards
- Ensure the adherence to legislation governing all Health and Safety matters on site.
- Reviewing project documentation, drawings and calculations as required
Electrical Engineer Essential Criteria:
- A relevant Third Level or Professional Qualification
- Electrical Engineering background is desirable
- Proven Experience in Data Centre projects an advantage but not essential
- Ability to work well under pressure and within strict deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Good organisational and planning skills
- A trade background with a third level qualification
- Experience working on Pharma projects
- Proven record of co-coordinating on projects
- System walkdown Experience
- Commissioning Experience
- Knowledge Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project
