Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support our service user with his complex care needs.
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.
Our service user is a young adult who requires support during the day at home and his educational setting in Middlesborough.
As his dedicated Healthcare Assistant, you will be the real-life superhero for our Marvel-loving young man.
Your role will involve providing personalised care, ensuring his safety and well-being, assisting with daily activities when at home and at school, whilst creating a nurturing and supportive environment.
He would love someone to watch Marvel movies together and engage in lively discussions about his favourite superheroes.
It would be advantageous if you shared a passion for Marvel as you will be able to foster a unique bond and create meaningful connections.
To ensure you feel fully equipped for this role, we offer specialised training tailored to his needs, where you will learn all about his medical conditions and specific care requirements.
As he is such a huge Marvel fan it would be great if you’re able to incorporate Marvel-themed activities into his daily routine. This would mean the world to him.
Essential Experience Required
- 3 months previous care experience
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
- Medication Administration
Desirable Experience
- Nebuliser Admin
- Tracheostomy Care
- PEJ Feed
We have the following shifts available;
- Full Time
- Days 8am – 8pm
- Monday - Friday
Take a look at our payrates
Weekdays £12.50 per hour (£150 approx per shift)
Bank Holiday £15.00 per hour (£180 approx per shift)
