Are you an experienced Social Media Expert with demonstrable experience in developing, implementing, and leading social media & digital marketing for professional organisations in the UK? We are seeking a commercially minded and customer focused person who will be instrumental in developing digital strategy, content creation and analytical ROI focus as well as supporting our overall marketing team objectives.

Role overview:
- Fulltime 35 hours per week; Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
- Salary £25 – 30k dependent on skills and experience
- Location flexible – either work from home with occasional head office visits or office based, in Chapeltown Sheffield (J35a M1)
Within this role you’ll be responsible for marketing communications (online and offline) on behalf of MED-EL UK to support our mission of overcoming hearing loss as a barrier to communication and quality of life and promoting trust and a positive perception of MED-EL.
Working closely with the Digital & Social Media Manager, this is both a strategic and delivery focused role and is intrinsic to the wider marketing team who collectively deliver against the commercial objectives to achieve targets and return on investment.
You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability of our social media & digital marketing platforms to ensure the highest level of communications delivery is being provided. Working with technical, commercial, and operational specialists across the business you will support the UK communications plan.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years demonstrable competency running corporate social media accounts
- Proven experience working within a marketing team as a marketing executive, or similar role
- Strong commercial awareness
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to network
- Creative content creation and copywriting skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Motivated individual able to juggle multiple projects
- A good work ethic is essential
