About The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen at our site at Haywards Heath for a Healthcare Assistant to join the team. The Princess Royal MRI provides rapid access to state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging service and delivers radiology results to patients and clinicians, quickly and effortlessly. Our highly skilled team of professionals and administrators provide expertise and reassurance for patients and their treatment pathway. Please note that this role requires the successful post holder to work a variety of 12 hour day shifts Monday-Sunday. Please note that we will be interviewing throughout the duration of this advert. Skills and Experience Our Healthcare Assistants provide a pivotal role in supporting our Radiographers. Working directly with patients in the clinical environment, this is an excellent opportunity for individuals with an interest in healthcare. Role responsibilities include: Assisting in patient preparation Chaperoning Cannulation Positioning of MRI patients on the scanner and MRI coil changes Clinical stock management Clinical audits Processing of patients via our E-Systems Admin cover where necessary To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate good communication, IT and administration skills, alongside a compassionate and enthusiastic demeanour. A flexible, organised and enthusiastic attitude is essential. Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred but not necessary as full training will be provided.
