We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic person to join our Health Records team at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
You will have previous experience working within a team in customer facing roles. With an ability to work autonomously under your own initiative.
You will need to be diligent, have an eye for detail and be able to sustain repetitive record and document filing, this all works towards ensuring that when the healthcare teams require the relevant clinical history of their patients, the information can be made instantly available.
This is a physically demanding job as manual movement of large volumes of health records are involved in the day to day process.

- Obtaining large volumes of health records ready for forthcoming outpatient clinics on a daily basis.
- Filing back into the health records library up to 200 + sets of health records daily.
- Reviewing health records stored in our Medical Records Library with a view to extracting those that meet the appropriate criteria for longer term storage through our Electronic Document Management system.
We provide a comprehensive range of specialist and general acute services to around 331,000 people across West and North Norfolk, in addition to parts of Breckland, Cambridgeshire and South Lincolnshire. We have more than 4,000 staff and volunteers and approximately 500 beds on a single site. Some specialist services and clinics are provided in community facilities, such as the North Cambridgeshire hospital in Wisbech. We work in partnership with neighbouring hospitals for the provision of tertiary services.
In February 2022 the QEH the Care Quality Commission rated the Trust as 'Good' in all of the core services they inspected, and recommended the Trust moves out of the recovery support system (formerly special measures).
