We’re looking for Metering Technicians to join our team on our Anglian Water Alliance.

Area of work: Essex/ Suffolk/ Norfolk/ Cambridgeshire

Depot locations: Ipswich/ Norwich/ Kings Lynn

Contract: Permanent - Full Time

Salary: £12.55 per hour plus weekly productivity bonus offering the opportunity to substantially increase your earnings


Responsibilities

In this role, you will be working on the Metering department within the Anglian Water Alliance, where we work on maintaining, repairing, and using technology to upgrade existing water meters to become part of the smart network.

Your day to day will include:

  • Your work will be despatched to your via tablet device
  • Visiting domestic and commercial properties within an allocated district
  • Installing and exchange water meters ensuring water hygiene regulations are maintained at all times
  • Communicate throughout the process with the customer
  • Surveying for the installation of internal and external water meters for properties
